The Three Minute Thesis is a competition that challenges graduate students to clearly and concisely explain their research topic and its significance to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes. It’s about distilling complex research into an engaging and accessible presentation within a very tight timeframe. For your 3 minutes presentation, please note the following guidelines:
- A single static PowerPoint of PDF slide is permitted, without animations (format 16:9 for Windows PC)
- Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified
- No additional electronic media (sound and video files) are permitted
- No accessories are permitted
- Presentations are to be spoken word (no songs, poems, etc.)
Please send your slide to contact@idigh.ca before May 13, 4pm.
